“Le rinnovabili sono il cuore della strategia energetica italiana”. Così il ministro dell’Ambiente e della sicurezza energetica, Gilberto Pichetto Fratin, sottolinea l’impegno per la transizione energetica del Paese, intervistato da Luciano Fontana, Direttore Corriere della Sera, alla quinta edizione dell’evento “Fonti alternative & Green Transition” di RCS Academy, Corriere della Sera e Pianeta 2030.
“L’obiettivo di ribaltare il rapporto tra fonti rinnovabili e fossili va mantenuto – ha aggiunto Pichetto – dobbiamo arrivare al 2030 con due terzi di rinnovabili e un terzo di fossili. Per farlo dobbiamo agire implementando le rinnovabili che già possediamo, come l’idroelettrico e il geotermico, con le nuove fonti come il solare, l’eolico e l’idrogeno, quando arriverà”. Il tema sottolinea il ministro è anche economico: “Finché non riusciremo a far pesare di più le fonti pulite nel mix energetico, rischiamo di avere dei prezzi dell’energia molto più alti dei nostri competitor, che sono i grandi Paesi europei come Francia, Spagna e Germania”. Con danni evidenti in bolletta sia per le imprese che per le famiglie.

Nel dibattito sulla transizione è intervenuta Gelsomina Vigliotti, Vicepresidente BEI, che ha rimarcato come la roadmap per il contrasto al cambiamento climatico sia immutata. Sul lungo periodo l’ambizione della banca, che dal 1995 ha aderito all’Accordo sul clima di Parigi, è la sostenibilità ambientale «che resta uno dei nostri obiettivi principali con almeno il 60% delle nostre attività dedicato all’azione climatica nel 2024».

Alla 5^Edizione di “Fonti Alternative & Green Transition” ha partecipato ed intervenuta anche Giorgia Garola CEO SCAM e Vice Presidente Unione Industriali Torino.

Enlit Africa 2024

Scam will participate to Enlit Africa 2024 because it is a fundamental fair to discuss about Energy and Water in Africa, will participate in fact 250 exhibitors and there will be several specific conferences on the topic with 180 speakers and there will be present 82 utilities and municipalities.

The lack of efficient energy supply services is one of Africa’s main problems. On the continent, about 600 million people (two thirds of the total population) do not have access to electricity. Although Africa is home to 16% of the world’s population, energy demand represents only 6%.

A cooperative approach, which sees Africa and Europe as partners, can create strategies and policy plans that can make African markets a safe and long-term investment environment in the energy sector.
